National Geographic

National Geographic has been making discoveries — and making an impact for over 130 years. When tasked with developing a brand and web presence for “Campaign for Nature,” a new logo and website were created as a global effort to raise awareness of the threats facing our natural world. Wanting to inspire world leaders to take action in protecting the world’s biodiversity, policymakers and conservation advocates were targeted to help preserve at least 30 percent of the planet by 2030. The brand had to live independently of the National Geographic family, however, maintaining a similar style was important. The website design was created using the Squarespace platform and utilized custom-made iconography to further support the campaign.
